Due to high winds of up to nearly 60 MPH, Christ School is officially shut down indefinitely. We have been without power for 2 days, and we expect not to have it for at least another day or two. We've got trees in houses and gutters blown off, and my Japanese Maple is getting torn up. Everyone is okay, though, and the kids get a free vacation, so they couldn't be any happier.
In other news, the Christ School Faculty Y League basketball team pulled out another squeaker last night, winning by two on a short Jeff Miles jumper in the lane.
Panera: free Internet and tasty coffee. Now that's a winning combination.
